Welcome to The Pet Keepsake. These terms explain how ordering from us works. Please read them before you place an order. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. About These Terms

These terms apply to all purchases made through thepetkeepsake.com. They work together with our Shipping Policy, Refund & Return Policy and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, the more specific policy applies.

2. Who We Are

The Pet Keepsake designs and sells handcrafted pet memorial jewelry and keepsakes. You can reach us at info@thepetkeepsake.com.

3. Our Products

Every item is made to order from the photo and details you provide. Our pieces are made from 316 titanium steel and engraved with laser technology. Pieces that open to hold ashes or fur are filled by you.

We aim to show our products as accurately as we can, but colors may look slightly different on different screens, and because each engraving is made from your photo, small differences in detail are natural. Product photos are for illustration.

4. Your Photos and Content

When you upload a photo, you confirm that it is yours, or that you have permission to use it. You give us permission to use it only to design and make your order.

The quality of the engraving depends on the quality of the photo. Clear, well-lit photos where the face is visible give the best results. If you submit a review with photos or text, you allow us to display it on our website.

5. Design Proof and Approval

After we receive your order and photo, we send you a digital design proof within 2 business days. You can ask for changes to the proof as many times as you need. Nothing is made until you approve the design.

Please check the proof carefully, including spelling, names and dates. Once you approve it, we make the item exactly as approved, so we cannot be responsible for errors in an approved design.

6. Prices and Payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and include free worldwide shipping unless stated otherwise. Promotions, such as our multi-item discount, apply as described on the website at the time of your order and cannot be combined unless we say so.

Payment is taken when you place your order, using the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, and we do not store your full card details. If we find a pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

7. Production and Shipping

After you approve your design, your item is made and shipped within 1-2 business days. Weekends and holidays may add time.

Delivery then takes about 10-20 business days to the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, 10-18 business days to the Middle East, and 15-25 business days to other regions. These are estimates, and delays can happen with carriers or customs. You can follow your parcel on our Track Your Order page. Please see our Shipping Policy for details.

8. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

• Cancellations: you can cancel before you approve the design. Once you approve it and we begin making your item, the order cannot be cancelled.
• Returns: because every item is custom-made, we accept returns only for defective items. We do not offer exchanges.
• Defective items: if your item arrives damaged or faulty, contact us and we will make it right. If the item needs to be sent back, we cover the return shipping.
• Lost parcels: a parcel is treated as lost once it has not arrived by the longest estimated delivery time for your region. Contact us and we will help.

9. Using Our Website

All text, images, logos and designs on this website belong to The Pet Keepsake or are used with permission. You may view and share our pages for personal use, but please do not copy, resell or reuse our content without written permission. Please do not misuse the website, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for anything unlawful.

10. Care of Your Jewelry

Our pieces are made to be worn every day, but like all jewelry they last longer with gentle care. Please avoid harsh chemicals and rough impact. If you place ashes or fur inside a piece, we recommend doing so carefully and closing it securely. We are not responsible for loss or damage that results from misuse or normal wear.

11. Limitation of Liability

We do our best to provide accurate information and quality products. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [CHECK: your country or state], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. The terms in place when you placed your order apply to that order.
